California group to celebrate Sta. Monica fiesta in the US.

Former Dongalo natives now residing in the US will be celebrating the annual Sta. Monica fiesta on September 3, 2006 at the Central Park Pavilion, 909 Kiely Blvd. Santa Clara, CA 95051 from 10am to 7pm.

Organized by Paranaquenos Lynn Cruz, Marietta Velo, Nato de Leon, Pauline Alvenar, and Pito Velo, the main objective of this celebration is to raise funds for the needy of Barangay Dongalo.

It also seeks financing and other resources to provide a brighter future for the youth through job training, education, counseling, elderly assistance, and temporary housing.
